Niebla and Río Tinto

Back on Spanish soil!
In contrast to the north, it is much better to drive here: for one thing, the landscape is so beautifully flat and for another, the main roads are not so busy.

I pass feeding flamingos (my first sighting in the wild!) and arrive in the town of Niebla.
The town of just under 4 000 inhabitants has an impressive fortress and the question arises as to what is being guarded or protected there 🤨.
The Río Tinto, the 'red river', flows through the town and plays an interesting colourful game with the blue sky...Lue lisää
