• 'Necropoli della Banditaccia'

    After the fated 'Bathroom Break', we got back on the road and good old Google Navigation got us right to where we wanted. The 'Necropoli della Banditaccia', is a Unesco World Heritage site half an hour from Rome Airport. It has thousands of tombs organized in a city-like plan, with streets, small squares and neighbourhoods, dating back to the 9th century BC! So, yes, that means the earliest graves are close to 3000 years old!! We arrived with just under an hour left before they closed - last entry one hour before they close!
