Saw the “bear sighting” warning after returning from a hike to Otonashi no Taki (waterfall with no sounds). Tried shibazuke pickles, a sort of eggplant-based local specialty, and enjoyed walking around the rice and vegetable fields in the village. Had sukiyaki for dinner with raw egg as a sauce.Read more
