Matcha green tea looking out at the 700-year-old pine tree in the garden. The planks of the ceiling here in the main hall are from Fushimi castle in Kyoto. Around 1600 there was a battle there. The samurai lost the fight and 370 committed seppuku (classical suicide of samurai). Traces of their blood can be seen in the planks overhead.Read more
