Momoiwa

“Momoiwa” translates to “peach rock.” This whole hike in the southern tip of Rebun (the “Momoiwa Observatory Shiretoko Course”) was incredibly beautiful and full of wildflowers. I did extend the hike through to Kitano Canary Park, which had this old-style schoolhouse that was the set for some movie. There are nice views of Rishiri from here and the cafe has really great coffee, but it was the hike that was truly remarkable.Read more
