Made it to the coast with no issues. Set up camp then took Josey to the beach so she could run. It was a cloudy, foggy day that turned into drizzle in the evening. Everyone turned in a little early.

Started the day with a 4.5 mile walk on the beach. Josey had a great time running, finding dead things and getting in the water.

We relaxed most of the day. Darrah/Steve provided happy hour snacks and Robin/Judy/Kim cooked a great Asian inspired dinner. Played a round of screw your neighbor with Kim as the winner.Read more

Beautiful day at the beach today. Did our walk, had some clam chowder, fish and chips and beer for lunch.

Spent the rest of the relaxing, drinking and enjoying our friends.

Internet is really spotty here. Getting things to upload is a challenge. Today we did a couple hikes, one along the beach and the other on the shore acres trail. Beautiful day on the coast, watch seals play and sun themselves. Had a Bloody Mary bar, then just relaxed for the rest of the day.Read more

A pretty chill day today. Walked our daily beach walk on a really low tide. Wide beach this morning.

Relax on the beach, Robin made Cesar's (Canadian bloody Mary) and a hoggie dip for appetizers.

We then celebrated national tequila day very well. Darrah made a delicious rigatoni for our dinner. Ended the evening around the campfire.Read more

Had a good day today. Did our beach walk in the am, then had our 2nd annual corn hole tournament in the afternoon. Mark and Julie tied with Robin and Judy as co champions this year. We sat around the fire as Teresa played 1980s music.Read more

Day 6 Puenta la Reana to Estella

3 things I've learned on this adventure so far, Spain always has a breeze (good), When they say it's flat, they are lying (nothing here is flat so far) and shirt days don't exist!
We woke up a little late and got a later start to the day. Walked with friends which made the day go faster at first. We made a few more stops today to enjoy the camino. Took a route to see some old church ruins and is suppose to be the original route of St. James. Crossed a roman built bridge and saw plenty of farmland but there hills...

We saw two of what the comino provides today. One was we came to an intersection with no markings so we were unsure of which way to go when an older guy came down the path and said this way. The other was we were about out of water with many miles to, when around a corner was a stand with water, crackers, nuts and olives, all fir a donation. We filled our bottles, had a few snacks, and dumped all of our loose euro coins in the money jar, then went on our way.

It was a long day with almost 8 hours of walking but we made it to our destination.Read more
