To get to this beautiful campsite, next to the water, we had to navigate 17 miles of treacherous road off the Glenn Highway. It was mortifying.

Fished in several small lakes in the area this evening. Dave released a 14 inch rainbow trout which was quickly picked up by a Bald Eagle. Pretty cool to watch. Took the Eagle 2 tries to get the fish.

Alaska is like an amusement park that never closes. We were out fishing until 11:30 pm.

Still experiencing a lot of forest fire smoke and haze.

Were you truly embarrassed by the drive or were you “terrified”.

TravelerReally it was mortify, because we were killing ourselves, the truck, the trailer, and few dishes on this terrifying road.
