Crater Lake, OR - Tucked away in southern Oregon. Took us about 2 hours to drive to see this most beautiful and unusual lake. It was formed by the eruption of the volcano Magama. The majority of the water comes from rain and snow falling directly on the surface not streams which is typical for a lake. It had no fish until it was stocked for fishing starting 1888.Read more
