FP Update 9/24 St. Martins Sea Caves & Fundy Trail Parkway, NB

Today is our last day of our Canadian Exploration Tour since we head back into the USA tomorrow. It was a great day weather wise and St. Martins caves & Fundy Trail help put New Brunswick on our Province would visit again list💜 which before today, may not have made the list.

St Martins Sea Caves, St. Martins, NB - The sandstone caves are carved by the Bay of Fundy tides. We explored the caves at our leisure, since we arrived at low tide, we were able to walk out to the caves. During high tide, the caves are completely submerged in the clear blue waters of the bay. However, at low tide, this entire landscape transforms into beautiful scenery with these magnificent caves and small streams. The caves were formed by the constantly changing tide cycle of Fundy Bay, which has the highest tides in the world. The water from all the rivers on earth that flows into all the oceans is equal to the amount of water flowing in and out of the Bay of Fundy in a single day.

Fundy trail parkway - The 30km coastal parkway offers stunning views of Bay of Fundy that rivals Nova Scotia's famous Cabot Trail. The parkway provides access to several trails and over 20 lookout locations along the coast. We stopped at almost all of the lookouts and were not disappointed. Our pics are great but as we have observed, being there and seeing it in person is the best way for things of true beauty to be seen 🤩. This park is the perfect place to view the natural, unspoiled beauty of the Bay of Fundy! Its shoreline cliffs and beaches are home to the world's most complete fossil record of life 300 million years ago.
