Annapolis is the actual capital of MD 😁, and the United States Naval Academy. We walked the Naval Academy Campus today, which is located along the Chesapeake Bay and truly has the collegiate feel as you tour the grounds. Some factoids: (*) Jimmy Carter graduated from the academy, (*) it's very hard to get into the United States Naval Academy (USNA) because it's one of the most selective schools in the country, and (*) prepares men and women to become professional officers in US Navy and Marine Corps.Read more
