FP Update 2/7 Atchafalaya Basin,LA

Today we went to the Atchafalaya Basin Landing and did an Airboat Swamp Tour!

It took us along the Louisiana wetlands which have been referred to as nature's amusement park. I would describe the swamp tours as an authentic adventures. Thrilling, enlightening and, most importantly, real.

We got up close and personal to quite a few alligators. Our tour guide has actually named some of the gators 😁! Fun fact, LA has the highest alligator 🐊 population of any state (more than FL). The locals call it “going into the woods “ Which is lined with Cypress trees popping out everywhere and the water carpeted with Hisense flowers that yield lavender flowers in the spring.
