FP update 4/13/25 Charleston, WV

We visited the capital of WV today. Initially, Wheeling was the capital but due to so much growth in the City of Charleston, it became the state capital.

We took a self guided tour of the state capital which from the outside was amazing but once inside it is even better. All the grand pillars are made of granite and have high beautiful ceilings 🤩. Also, fun fact, Lincoln had a big hand in West Virginia actually becoming a state during the civil war. To pay tribute to him there is a statue of Abe in front of the building.
