We took a gander around Lexington today. Clean downtown and it features the other thing Kentucky is known for (besides Bourbon) horse farms and thoroughbred racetracks like Keeneland. If you’re not into horses, you should visit!!!!!

The town is also home of the Henry Clay estate. He was a very influential politician who in the 1800s ran for president a few times but didn’t get elected. He was Abe Lincoln’s favorite politician – quoted him 40 times in the Gettysburg Address.

The estate has a beautiful garden that is well maintained. Beautiful part of the country.Read more
