Today we visited the downtown of Frankfort, KY, the Capital, and yes, it is the capital 😁

Michael mentioned this the night before, and I had to Siri check him.

Some fun facts about this small capital city:

· Home of Rebecca-Ruth’s candy, known for its bourbon ball candy. We took a tour of their very tiny production plant. It is manually operated and spits about 5 million pieces of candy annually.
· Daniel Boone’s grave site is here.
· The only Governor ever to be assassinated, and it happened in Frankfort- Governor William Goebel, 1900.Read more
