Closing in on Our Destination

We are sailing along the north coast of the Dominican Republic looking at mountains! That is such a difference from the low lying coastal lands and islands we’ve grown accustomed to! We have been waiting for a while to pay a visit to Marina de Puerto Bahia Samana. We’ve heard that it is inexpensive luxury with helpful and friendly people. We left French Cay in Turks and Caicos a day and a half ago and we have about 15 hours yet to go. The motor got a rest starting this afternoon and it looks promising to sail the rest of the way!
