Rome Layover

Got our bags from United and then went to the Left Luggage, which means luggage storage. Our first cup of espresso and pizza for breakfast. Then we took the train into Rome Termini.

No data, no wifi due to technical difficulties, but managed to buy a 24 hr local bus ticket for 7 euros and gave ourselves the hop on hop off tour for a fraction of the cost. We also got to see a bunch of tourists get fines from Transit police for not having tickets.

We had more pizza at a cafe near Vatican city and then headed back to the airport.

Lucky to have lots of time due to waiting in lots of lines to retrieve our luggage and check in for RyanAir. Patience was key 😁Read more
