Onshore at St Andrews

St. Andrews is full of color and charm, and easy to be in. People are very helpful, and when on a boat, it seems we are always asking for help. Today the Wharfinger, Carl, took our propane tank with him on his scooter to get it filled for us a mile away.

This morning was rainy, which means Laundry Day. It was a good thing, too, as it had been a while since the last time. 😬 Once we got it going (after David’s trip to the bank to exchange $10US for Canadian quarters)(which required a flurry of activity including managers), we found a restaurant for breakfast, and then walked around into the neighborhoods. We are guessing they have a severe deer problem, as we saw 6-7 deer helping themselves to the beautiful gardens just on our short walk. And they were not concerned about us one bit.Read more
