Our road trip along Australia’s greatest waterway, the Murray River begins 😊

Today’s drive took us along the coast and The Coorong National Park, passed Lake Albert to Lake Alexandrina, a large freshwater lake at the mouth of the Murray River before it reaches the southern ocean

Point Malcolm lighthouse on the lake is the only freshwater inland lighthouse in the Southern Hemisphere

👍🏻 Early start with an appointment at the hospital for a review after last nights emergency visit - all appears to be healing well 🤞🏻
👍🏻 Grateful to nurses Pricilla and Kelly and Dr Chris at the Penola War Memorial Hospital for their care and attention 🙏🏻
👍🏻 Big thanks to the unknown person who found our lost AirPod and handed it into the tourist information, fate reunited us today 😊

👎🏻 $10 for a load at the laundry in Penola 🧺
👎🏻 Strong winds at camp, but the tall reeds provided a little shelter 💨
