👎🏻 Little damp after the unexpected thunderstorm ⛈️

After just a short drive we arrived at camp to our choice of lakeside sites. Shortly after setting up we watched van after van arrived - you clearly need to be in early if you want a lake side spot

Jumped on the bikes to ride the lakeside trail through the many beautiful parks lining the shore. We then detoured to visit the large goanna🦎. Total 14.5km

We had planned to ride into town and check out more of the sculpture trail, but on our way the thunderstorm started a little earlier than expected and as we had our pop top vents open we wanted to get back before the weather turned nasty ⛈️

Once the rain subsided Johnny got his fishing gear out, for the first time this trip and enjoyed a couple of hours feeding the local fish 🎣

We enjoyed a lovely evening with a beautiful starry sky sat by the water chatting with our new neighbours, Ken and Bernadette, who are just setting off on their current adventures from Queensland
