Drove across the desert to get from LA to Phoenix ... hot and dry.

Quite hilly.

Amazed at how many wind farms there are. It seems that although the US politicians are mostly in denial about climate change at least the Californians are getting on with it!

The goods trains are miles long and this one was transporting armaments. Enough for most armies on one train.
