Thanks to the gilet jaunes we had to avoid Toulouse and have ended up in this charming and original chateau. Our hosts, Michel and Ann-Marie have been delightful.

ReisendeOh, but I forgot - you’ve been to Lourdes, and lit a candle! In Fatima, you can buy a wax replica of a body part that is troubling you and cast it into an inferno, but don’t be too optimistic!

Small industrial & fishing harbour north of Porto and along the Atlantic coast. Funny mixture of old and run down and new. Easy reach of Porto by bus or metro.

Mixed feelings about Porto. There are some very nice buildings spread out over a large area. And it is very up and down. The public transport is excellent and a great way of getting around.

Reisende She was having such fun, her owner threw a big stone - mostly into the sea - which hound retrieved and ran back to her nest which she had excavated. We were kept amused for quite a long time!

Charming little resort on the coast. Beautiful by the sea but a bit touristy further back with plenty of "pubs" etc. Property prices here similar to Cote d'Azure.
