Drove down through torrential rain checked in and wandered around. First impressions very positive - maybe because it finally stopped raining!?
Turin hotel apartment

Very pleased with our accommodation. Just round the corner from the station on the south side of the old town and sadly the shopping area.

A gentle stroll along the main river flowing through Turin.
Rocca medievale
March 13, 2018 in Italy ⋅ ☀️ 17 °C

Tribute to Fiat
March 15, 2018 in Italy ⋅ 🌧 5 °C
Turin is the home of Fiat cars sadly best known in the UK for the rust buckets of the 60s and 70s. But as their car museum shows they have a long and proud automotive tradition!
Car museum
March 15, 2018 in Italy ⋅ 🌧 5 °C
Plenty of non-Italian classic cars to see.
Graffiti wall to wall
March 15, 2018 in Italy ⋅ ⛅ 5 °C
Turin is covered in graffiti which I loved! Creative, great colours, political, and downright rude.
More great graffiti
March 15, 2018 in Italy ⋅ ⛅ 5 °C
A few more I enjoyed. No blank surface is left unadorned!
Egyptian Museum - real people
March 16, 2018 in Italy ⋅ ⛅ 14 °C
Second only to Cairo in number of artefacts and very well presented. Arranged chronologically and everything clearly labelled in English. Audio guide a bit redundant.
