    The French painter Jacques Majorelle established the gardens in the 1920s, a peaceful escape in the bustling city with winding paths, plantings and water features. Majorelle blue was everywhere, including the home which was owned by Yves Saint Laurent. Next door to the gardens we also visited the Yves Saint Laurent Museum which had a collection of his fashion creations.
    It was a HOT spring day in the city, getting up to 34deg, although Abdul and Hassan both remember a day of 51deg!    Read more
