Day 1 - Mono lake

There have been a ton of cyclists going both ways. We roll on about 1:30 and head for Monitor Pass. It is a sweet motorcycle route, but I pity the poor fools pedaling up the grade. It is actually cool enough that Gwen and I have our liner jackets on. By Walker we need another stop and we head over to the County park. The last time we were here was on our Route 66 trip in 2008. Walker seems like a much more happenin place then I remember. Onward, down the long grade and through Bridgeport, down to Lee Vining and Mono Lake.
