Day 6 - Carlsbad Caverns

Gwen and I stayed at the sketchy Whites City RV park last night and took off for the park at 7:30 to try and get into the cavern by 8:30. It's already like 80 F when we get to the park. Gwen suckers me into taking the elevator down and hiking the natural entrance out. It's 750 feet deep! The cavern is amazing, so huge that the part we hike takes about an hour and a half. We couldn't believe it was that big. It was a comfy 55 degrees or so in the cavern; after coming up into the heat I wish I could stay down there.Leer más
