Storms coming....

This morning we drove up to check out The Pinnacles desert in Nambung National Park. We visited here with my family a couple of years ago, it really is an incredible place! Hundreds of strange limestone structures up to 30,000 years old.

The sun continued to stay out whilst we visited the gorgeous Jurien Bay which is famous for sea lions. Unfortunately the oceans were too rough to go for a paddle, so we headed inland to find a campground as far from the storm as possible.

We camped at Elbenjo, which is owned by a lovely couple who rescue and raise injured/orphaned animals. Just as we had set up the tent a huge storm rolled in, so we headed undercover to cook dinner and drink some wine.
