Harlington

Our involuntary layover was at the Ibis Hotel near Harlington Village immediately north of Heathrow. From the hotel, we walked up the High Street, ate dinner at a pub called The White Hart, and then explored the village church and its graveyard. The pub had a nice outdoor garden.

Despite the short layover, I enjoyed reconnecting with England, and experiencing the little things that make England tick.
