As I was anticipating being employed again soon, I figured that I would need a head start in requalifying for status. I found a decent Premium Economy fare from LAX to TYO, and so I took a roundabout routing. The outbound flights has me flying eastwards HNL-LAX-DFW and then westwards to NRT.
