I have few opportunities to eat decent Singapore food in Hawaii, so I took the opportunity to venture out to The Hood, a Singapore restaurant in the 11th arrondissement. I initially thought I would order nasi lemak or laksa, but as I approached the restaurant, I smelled Hainanese chicken rice and I decided to order that instead.
