    After the temple, we headed to the glitzy tourist resort area at Denarau Island. Truth be told, I was barely interested in seeing a resort area, but I suspected we would struggle to fill the day, so I went along with it. Denarau looked a lot like Kāʻanapali on Maui, with golf courses along the road, and driveways into expensive resorts.
