Trevi Fountain & Vicinity

After the Pantheon, I made my way to the Trevi Fountain. En route, I stopped at one Atlas Obscura-listed site, the Galleria Sciarra, featuring an art nouveau courtyard with frescoes covering the walls. https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/galleria-sc…

Next up was the Trevi Fountain which was really crowded. I cannot imagine what it would be like during the peak summer season.

Immediately next to the Trevi Fountain is Santi Vincenzo e Anastasio a Trevi, a church that is best known for housing the embalmed hearts and organs of 22 popes, with the most recent one from 1903. https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/7122Read more
