    From Villa Borghese, I walked down the Hill to Piazza Popolo. After admiring the piazza, I sought out a statue called Il Bubiano, or The Baboon. Apparently, the statue, which depicts a satyr, was considered so ugly that it was named for a primate instead. https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/il-babuino-…

    Next up was the Mausoleum of Augustus, and a nearby wall commemorating his deeds.

    After this site, was made my way down to the River Tiber’s banks, walked a short way along it, and then made my way back to Piazza Navona and on to David’s apartment.
