My next stop was the Piazza Venezia, which houses the grandiose monument to Victor Emmanuel, along with various other museums and cultural institutions which are collectively branded as “VIVE”. Entrance to the main plaza at the Victor Emmanuel monument is free, and I enjoyed the views from there, including the nearby Forum and the Colosseum in the distance.Read more
