Bruce Rock

What a magnificent memorial park. We popped out just before dusk to explore it. I lovely time of day to stroll around the gardens. We lucked upon a food truck run by 2 Kiwi ladies. Had yummy burgers for dinner.

Graham raided the craft store early in the day for jam. We have learned you have to get out early as most shops are closed after lunch in the little country towns. He scored marmalade, lemon spread, honey, and a ginger slice. Was about the only store open in town. They do have a new supermarket opening Monday.Read more
