Graham wanted to stop here. Was a township of over 1000 Chinese miners and their families. He expected to see some ruins. But it was just a short board walk into the forest.

Halls Falls

Another great walk today. A little longer and rougher in places than St Columba Falls yesterday.

We had driven to these falls when we were here for our very short visit 4 years ago. The walk was closed due to covid.

We have some walks and waterfalls to explore here. Plus the local dairy/cheese producer. Lots of dairy cows in the area.

I was very hard to pull ourselves away from this beautiful spot on the Bay of Fires.
Must admit we didn't do a lot here just sat around and enjoyed the view.

Bicheno

Had planned to do the walk to the gorge at Douglas Aspley National Park today. Got as far as the Aspley waterhole and there were no more signs or obvious track to continue on.
