• Hong Kong in a Flash part 1

    May 28–29 in Hong Kong ☀️ 33 °C

    Day One
After a nearly 16-hour flight with the previously mentioned stop in Helsinki, we arrived at the Hong Kong International Airport, where we met up with my sister, who arrived on the same day.
Right afterward, we headed toward the subway station. For an easy and comfortable stay in Hong Kong, I recommend getting an “Octopus card.” It functions as a payment method just like a debit card - just charge it with money and you're good to go! You can pay with it pretty much everywhere in Hong Kong. ;)

The subway then took us into the city toward our hotel. After nearly an hour and a few transfers, we arrived at the Holiday Inn. We quickly stored our luggage in our rooms and headed out for a late dinner. A few minutes later, we found a cute little place that was open until 2am After a short catch-up, we decided to go to sleep. :)

    Day Two
Time for our English exam! We went to the PTE Academic exam at noon via Uber. On our ride there, we had some good practice chatting with the driver.

After arrival, we had to go through strict security measures - there is no way anyone is cheating there, I can tell you that!

Later on, we went back and met up with my sister again, had some late lunch, and did some sightseeing around the area. In the evening, we had a drink at the harbour before heading back to the hotel for the night.
