Rio de Janeiro

A one and a half hour flight and we reached the final leg of the tour - two nights in Rio, staying in a hotel on the Copacabana beach front.

Must-do visits were made to the famous Christ the Redeemer statue and Sugar Loaf Mountain landmarks. We had lunch in the
Lapa and Santa Teresa neighborhood, where a passing carnival warm up parade added the right sort of vibe to the atmosphere.

While the weather was a bit cloudy, it did not dampen the impressive drama that these have to offer in what seemed to be a crazy city!

The tour ended with a marvellous farewell group meal in a Brazilian restaurant (full of locals), which also provided an opportunity to thank our wonderful guide, Daniella.Leggi altro
