Batu Karas - improving surf skills

Loved this place! Beautiful beaches, only few western tourists, just surfers, very natural and rural area and friendly, relaxed people everywhere. 😎
Unfortunately the waves were gone, after two days, and waiting for the next swell would have felt like wasting time, so I only stayed for 3 nights.
Was nice to meet Raffa from Bandung, again, had some fun in the water, and I finally switched from the softboard (great for learning how to stand-up) to a proper longboard. Still fighting with my timing and my paddling skills, but feel as if I still improve, slowly but steadily. 😅Read more
