Much smaller and looser rocks along the way. Probably the most exhausting part of the whole camino.
May the fastest sheep get the freshest grass.
Saw some wild salamanders in the pond, were impressed by the clearness of the mountain water but dubious about it's potability. Impressed a local group by understanding their catalan.
A rewarding view halfway past the beautiful shady rocky path of camí de Ral, all the way imagining how merchants, travellers, and knights stepped on the same rocks all these centuries.
Just as we thought we were too late to see the sunrise, it perked up behind us, warming up our path.
But the yellow cross sign caught our attention and we backtracked straight away. Slight detour but we keep walking until we have our first celebratory clara of the day.
With a stunning view of the mountain. Daydreaming of retiring there.
