We began our day at a charming bakery, where despite a long line, we quickly got served and found a place to sit. Next, we visited Freetown Christiania, a unique area in Copenhagen known for its colorful, graffiti-covered buildings and relaxed rules, where marijuana is openly sold. We then went to the Church of Our Saviour and climbed its 400-step spiral staircase, taking about 10-15 minutes to reach the top for a stunning view. After walking 20,000 steps, we returned to our hotel in the afternoon for some rest, then ended our day exploring nearby Christmas markets.
The next day we had breakfast at our hotel again and we then packed our things and headed to the airport around noon.Read more
