Day 2

On our first full day in Dublin, we took a hop-on hop-off bus tour. The weather in Ireland is famously unpredictable, which you can clearly see in the photos—one moment it’s cloudy and rainy, and just a few minutes later the sun is shining. 😂

We also visited the Teeling Whiskey Distillery, where we ended up having a private tour since we were the only ones booked for that time slot. The distillery was really impressive, and we got to taste three different whiskeys. Later on, we even picked up a bottle at the airport to take home.Read more

Day 3

On the third day, we checked out of our Airbnb and headed to pick up our rental car from Sixt. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade and ended up with a Cupra Formentor.

We then drove to our next Airbnb, which was absolutely lovely and entirely bee-themed.

Later that day, we went for a drive and visited the famous trees where a Game of Thrones scene was filmed. We also saw a nearby castle that was featured in the series as well.Read more

Day 4

The next day was absolutely amazing. We visited the Game of Thrones Studio Tour, and it was such an incredible experience! Many scenes were filmed directly in the studio, and so many original props were still on display. The tour was truly impressive and absolutely worth it for any Game of Thrones fan—and I even got to sit on the Iron Throne!!!

Later on, we drove around a bit more, but unfortunately it was raining for most of the time.Read more

The weather was much better today, so we drove around and visited a really beautiful beach. Later on, we checked into our new Airbnb, which was basically a container located behind the owners’ house—but the interior was beautifully designed and decorated. We also had a few cats that kept stopping by to visit, which was a lovely bonus!

We ended the night with Thai food at a restaurant.Read more

Today, we visited the Cliffs of Moher—an absolute must-see. It was soooooooo windy though! In the evening, the cats were already waiting for us, and we grabbed pizza from Apache, which was incredibly good. 🍕Read more

We headed back to Dublin to return our rental car and spent the night at our last Airbnb before heading home the next day.
