Definitely remote this pub has been around for over 100 years. Back in the old days the average trek cattle or sheep could in a day was around 18-20miles. So back then there were many droving routes that had a tavern or inn located about every 20miles or so, many of which today no longer exist. These catered for the overnighting of the drovers.Read more
