• ANZAC Day Service - Yelarbon

    As mentioned earlier, we got a tip off in Goondiwindi yesterday that Yelarbon was having a ANZAC Service with a parade and everything and we thought well that’s gonna be a great little place to stop last night and we attended the service this morning.
    Was a fantastic little Service in this tiny little town and we were surprised by people coming from all around to attend it. Started out with a small service at the cemetery honouring the fallen soldiers of the past, we laid wreaths on their stones, then back into town for the parade down the main street, all 400 metres of it, and ended up at the memorial for the civic service and speeches. Was a really fantastic day and I wore some of my Air Force gear but didn’t march as my ankle was playing up.
