First day of our travels takes us to our Jayco Club Rally at Kingaroy. Australia’s peanut capital and home to one of Qld’s best Premiers, Sir Joh Bjelke-Petersen.

Made our way up to the lookout at Mt Wooroolin for a Birds Eye view of Kingaroy. Not very high but still gave a good understanding of the area.

Australia’s Dingo Fence

Such an amazing thing to see. This is a grape vine out back of the Royal Hotel that was planted back in 1890.

Art Deco in Gilgandra

Art Deco is one of my favourite types of architecture. Gilgandra has quite a few buildings from that era that have been renovated and some in progress. Even the IGA has followed the theme.

Another country pub free camp stopover. This is the exact halfway point between Melbourne and Brisbane along the Newell Hwy.
