The Pub with No Food

A great little town between Bundaberg and 1770, called Yandaran. Stay here overnight for free on the lawns out the back of the pub with the caravan. As long as you’re gonna spend something insideLeggi altro

Summit 1770

We’ve arrived at the stunning Summit 1770 and what a glorious park this is. Huge sites with slabs all level power and water but they do prefer that you just use the water to fill your own tanks. NotLeggi altro
Town of 1770

1770 is really stunning and peaceful place, but this time of year it is just packed with tourists galore can’t even get a carpark at the shopping centre.

Doggy Playground

This site even has a full dog off leash area with its own dam for swimming.
Bronson had a great Frolic in the area and couldn’t get him out to head back to the van.
Agnes Waters

Well the beaches up here are sort of okay if you don’t mind all the warning signs, but the tide variances are so massive that at low tide water goes out so far that the drop off is huge, and a goodLeggi altro
Dinner at the Rusty Pelican

Can’t come to 1770 without stopping at the Rusty Pelican. It’s a landmark, real beach feel and rustic.

K Bar 1770

Time to end the day with a coldie on the water at K Bar across from the Rusty Pelican. Facing direct west it would be a tremendous location to film or shoot a Sunset. Maybe another night.

Back at K Bar tonight to view a sunset. We’re planning on steak tonight but after a fellow traveller at the RV park turned with a gorgeous pizza, or became a changed menu.

Bundaberg CMCA

Decided on a Bundy stopover to catch up with an old friend. Best spot to stay is the Bundy CMCA RV park at $7 per night for members.
Right in the middle of town and great access to everything.
Burrum Heads

The coastal areas up here are just amazing, beautiful beaches and glorious sand. This time of year though, there plenty of warning signs from November through March about the stingers jellyfish andLeggi altro
