Aw, look who drove down to say hello and spend some time with us before we head back to ATL

And it didn't hurt that we got a little trinket for him from Japan!

So, back to San Diego for the evening before our flight back to Atlanta on Thursday. We had much more agreeable weather this time - 70’s and sun and a light cool breeze. It’s like the Universe making sure we fully know that every time Connor texts us about the weather, it really is perfect most of the time.

We took a little stroll along the boardwalk and then cozied up at nice spot - aka one of Gin’s local haunts where we had “reserved” seats! We enjoyed the sunset there and waited as Connor had gotten off work and was able to come down and spend some time with us - and pick up a little trinket he had asked us to bring back.

We were able to spend 4 or 5 hours with him and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It’s great to see him continue to grow, and it was even sweeter when he bought the final round of the night! 😁Read more
