Thankfully, we’ve arrived in Barcelos much earlier than our other stays! Beat the heat a bit better! Only thing is that our check-in at the hostel is not until 3pm. So, poor us, we have to wait and have lunch in this perfect picturesque square with covered seating and a fountain flowing in the background! TravelerYes… he was kind of a “keeper” at the ruins! He insisted we follow him so he could give us a stamp in our pilgrim passports and so he could point at this and that and ramble on in Portuguese, as if we had a clue! 🤣 Really sweet man! I’ll have to look up the ruins later tonight to find out what we were looking at!
