A walk through Inverness

We managed a sort of self-guided tour thru part of Inverness this afternoon. We saw the oldest house still standing in Inverness and Leakey’s Bookshop, which was a highlight for me. It’s Scotland’s largest secondhand bookstore and has everything from current day fiction to books over 100 years old (I even saw a few prints that were supposed to be over 300 yrs old)! A wood burning stove situated right in the middle keeps the place warm! It is SO cold today! It feels cold everyday, but our hosts actually said there’s snow in the forecast! We looked up the weather and it says possibly some tonight! 😳😲 We grabbed dinner-food from a grocery, earlier today, and are now back at our little B&B eating, planning and posting!Læs mere
