    River Rescue Practice

    While touring Belton Bridge, a team from Great Northern was practicing river rescues. The top cause of death at Glacier is drowning. Being glacial runoff, waters within the park are extremely cold, registering around 40 degrees. At these temperatures hypothermia quickly sets in, which eventually leads to drowning.Read more
