After hiking just over 2.5 miles I reached the falls. At 197 feet high, Fairy Falls is one of the tallest waterfalls at Yellowstone. At the base of the falls is a shallow, shaded pool.

Artists Paintpots is located in the Gibbon Geyser Basin. A short loop trail winds through the features of the area, including streams, mud pools, geysers and steam vents.
